@lopatto.bsky.social After six days at a Boy Scout camp, with no hot water and all of my meals prepared by fellow 14-year olds, nothing felt better than that shower at home and nothing tasted better than the Arby’s we stopped at on the way home. I’m 44 now and nothing has topped that afternoon.
@thomasjpr having lived in three different US states where an entrenched (and subpar) provider had to face competition from a new fiber provider, the result was always favorable to the consumer.

@jvl.bsky.social I finally axed my subscription too, after four years. I really enjoyed (and valued!) about 80% of his content, but whenever tech crosses paths with politics, he seems completely out of his depth. I can read other tech bros channel Elon for free.
